Heidi Bachram lost her husband’s cousin when the Muslim terrorist organization Hamas murdered and took Jews hostage on October 7, 2023. She reacts strongly to Greta Thunberg’s statements that Hamas’s own videos of the massacre are ”propaganda.” ”Greta’s disgusting use of the word ’kidnapped’ is a deep insult to the 250 innocents who were taken to Gaza,” Heidi Bachram tells Bulletin.
Greta Thunberg claimed during a press conference at Paris airport on June 10 that Israel tried to force her to watch ”propaganda film” from the massacre. The claim has sparked strong reactions as the film is a collection of videos that members of the Muslim terrorist organization Hamas themselves recorded and in some cases livestreamed during the October 7, 2023 massacre.
Bulletin has interviewed Heidi Bachram, whose husband’s cousin Tsachi Idan was taken from Kibbutz Nahal Oz during the terror attack. Tsachi Idan never returned alive.
”Disgusting word to use”
”Greta’s disgusting use of the word ’kidnapped’ is a deep insult to the 250 innocents who were taken to Gaza. Many of them including my relative Tsachi Idan never came back alive,” Bachram writes to Bulletin.
She continues:
”There are still 55 hostages who rot in Hamas’s hell tunnels. Many are alive and suffering torture, starvation and abuse for months. Tsachi was kidnapped from his home, covered in the blood of his murdered child. Greta did a dangerous spectacle for attention and was given a sandwich and flown home.”
Forced to witness terror
Bachram describes how Hamas filmed and broadcast the terror live on social media.
”Hamas filmed every terrible thing they did to our family. They broadcast it live to Tsachi’s wife’s social media. That’s how many of us found out what horrors were happening. We didn’t get the choice not to see,” she writes to Bulletin.
Heidi Bachram writes about her family’s experiences on her Substack.
Since the October 7 Hamas terror attack, Greta Thunberg has accused Israel of genocide and chanted slogans like ”Crush Zionism” outside Israel’s embassy. In June 2025, she participated in the Ship to Gaza campaign, which is organized by individuals with Hamas connections.
Previously, Thunberg has promoted social media accounts that praised Hamas’s slaughter of Jews.
Greta Thunberg has previously been awarded numerous honors and even served as editor-in-chief for a day at Dagens Nyheter.
