Journalism Internship – Syndicated News

We are looking for a clear, concise, and energetic writer who is excited to join a growing organization. Over the course of the internship, you will be responsible for covering syndicated news (e.g. TT Nyheter) and conducting research that uncovers interesting aspects of each story. In this role, the intern will also write headlines that are tailored for print and digital audiences.

This position requires a willingness to work on weekends and evenings, as news cycle demands.

Qualifications and Candidate Background

The ideal candidate will have:

• Undergraduate degree (graduating no later than June 2023)
• A keen understanding of style, grammar and sentence structure
• Ability to work calmly under intense deadlines
• Prior experience covering new news events is a plus

Location

The position can be based out of the offices in Stockholm, however, given the situation with COVID-19, most of the work with be virtual.

Contract

This is a full-time internship. For top performers, there will be the opportunity to convert to a permanent position.
